K20 per SMS part to Malawi numbers
Prepaid, and charged per SMS part on the dashboard and HTTP API. A short message is one part, and a long message uses more. SMPP binds are priced by quote.

Sending to +265 numbers only. A long message uses more than one part, and each part is charged. Volume pricing on request.
What "per SMS part" means
You pay for each part a message uses, not for each message. Up to 160 plain characters is one part. Longer messages split into parts of up to 153 characters. A message with an emoji, a curly apostrophe or another special character holds less: up to 70 characters, then parts of 67.

How to pay
- Manual top-up: pay by bank transfer or mobile money. Send the payment and its reference from your dashboard, and our staff approve it and add the credit.
- Online payment: pay with Airtel Money, TNM Mpamba and card from your account.

What is an SMS part?
One SMS holds up to 160 plain characters, or 70 if the message needs Unicode. A longer message is sent in several parts of up to 153 or 67 characters, and the phone joins them together. Each part is charged at K20.
Is the K20 price the same for Airtel and TNM?
Yes. SMS to Malawi numbers from the dashboard and HTTP API costs K20 per SMS part on either network.
Am I charged if a message fails?
If the gateway refuses a message, or its final report says it failed, the charge goes back to your balance.
Can I get a lower price for high volumes?
Contact us with your expected volumes. Your dashboard always shows the price that applies to your account.
